FEBRUARY 2024 PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Crawford County Early Voting Receiving Board for the February 27,2024 Presidential Primary Election has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 8:00 PM at the Crawford County Building, 200 W Michigan Ave., Grayling, MI 49738 for the purpose of canvassing early votes for all precincts in the municipalities listed below:

Frederic Township, Lovells Township, Maple Forest Township, South Branch Township, City of Grayling, Grayling Township

THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE TOWNSHIP CLEAN BY PARTICIPATING IN THE LARGE ITEM DAYS. 

CONNECT WITH YOUR TRASH SPECIALIST AT THE SITE TO DETERMINE HOW TO BREAK DOWN YOUR LARGER ITEMS AND PLACE THEM IN THE SMALLER DUMPSTERS BEFORE BRINGING THEM TO THE SITE.

REMEMBER-ONLY NORMAL HOUSEHOLD TRASH IN THE COMPACTOR AT PIONEER ROAD. DO NOT PLACE ANY LARGE ITEMS, FURNITURE OR HEAVY DUTY ITEMS IN THE COMPACTOR AS IT COULD PUT IT OUT OF SERVICE. THANK YOU.

REFUSE SITE RULES - DUE TO THE VOLUME AND ASSOCIATED COSTS

In an effort to control increasing costs, cardboard dumpsters have been added to both transfer sites. These bright green dumpsters are for FLATTENED AND CLEAN CARDBOARD ONLY! This includes both corrugated and paperboard products. If you have any questions, please ask the refuse attendant.

On October 1st, 2020 a Five (5) (30gal.) bag limit per week was placed to help equalize the amount of trash at the refuse sites. Residents must show a current permit to the Attendant on site before disposal. NO BUILDING MATERIAL, HOME REMODEL MATERIAL, OR LARGE ITEMS will be accepted. 

Hours of Operation: Sat. Sun. Mon. and Wed. 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
